What to do with the Men
Thurs 9 July, 2026
Tom Atkin Hall Tugun
Doors open 6pm
Forum: 6.30 - 9pm
What to do with the men?
The crisis of masculinity is one of the clearest indicators we are living in a time that has failed to find appropriate solutions, or even ask the question at all.
The failure to address this challenge plays no small part in the rising gender and political divide, economic disparity, increasing societal tensions, and overall mental health crisis we are experiencing today.
The cultures who were most successful in discovering ways to deal with this question went on to create vibrant, safe, and productive societies. It stands to reason that we approach this ongoing conversation with the gravitas, weight, and courage it demands.
Join storyteller, mythologist and cultural commentator Leon Cossar for an overdue reckoning - through a mythological, historical, and cultural lens - with the perennial question that has troubled cultures across time.
