On behalf of the Tugun Progress Association Inc., the Tom Atkin Hall expresses our respect for and acknowledgement of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People, the Traditional Owners of the land upon which we live, work and share in community.

The Tom Atkin Hall is located on the Traditional Lands of the Kombumerri people of the Yugambeh Language Region. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and we acknowledge the continuing connection to the sea, to land and waters, to communities and culture. We also acknowledge the custodial neighbouring communities and we recognise their connection to this region upon which we gather.
